The BetaFPV Meteor75 Whoop Drone features a one-piece injection molded frame with a canopy that follows the classic BETAFPV design. The frame is made of a flexible material with good ductility, providing both flexibility and durability. It offers a certain level of compressive strength to ensure impact resistance.
In terms of design, the canopy of the Meteor75 has been updated with a playful touch. It now features a knight’s helmet style, adding an element of fun to the overall look. The underside of the frame is designed as a battery compartment that can accommodate a 1s450mah battery.
Quality of images
The BetaFPV Meteor75 Whoop Drone is equipped with a 1200TVL mini analog camera with a 2.1mm lens and a 160° FOV. It offers excellent latency and is able to provide high quality image transmission even in complex indoor environments.
Compared to previous generations of TinyWhoop drones with only 25MW of integrated image transmission, the Meteor75’s 350MW of transmission power is more suitable for most indoor applications. In addition, the camera uses a 1/3-inch CMOS sensor, resulting in improved image clarity in low-light conditions.
However, when compared to higher quality cameras, the images produced by this camera can appear somewhat dull or “grayish”.
In conclusion, the camera on the BetaFPV Meteor75 Whoop Drone performs adequately in good lighting conditions, but cannot be considered exceptional when compared to higher-end options.
It is equipped with lightweight and powerful 0802 series 19,500kv brushless motors, which play a critical role in its power system. Each motor weighs only 1.88g and has excellent integration. During flight, even when powered by a 1s battery, these motors provide a noticeable power boost and deliver instant acceleration without any lag.
Throttle response is quick and agile, providing a sensitive and dynamic flying experience. This allows for effortless execution of high-intensity maneuvers such as sharp rolls and flips.
The features an integrated all-in-one flight controller that combines a 5A 4 in1 ESC. It uses the BMI270 gyroscope and integrates an ELRS receiver, effectively combining the ESC, flight controller, and receiver functions into one compact board.
In addition, the four motors are conveniently connected via a three-pin socket for direct connection, without the need for complicated soldering. The overall design of the it is structured to allow easy replacement of specific parts in the event of damage. Even beginners can easily perform simple repairs.
The Meteor75 Whoop Drone is the first generation of Whoops to feature the new BT2.0 connector for the 450mAh battery. The BT2.0 connector is an exclusive design by BETAFPV.
Compared to the original PH2.0 connector, the BT2.0 connector significantly reduces the internal resistance, resulting in improved discharge performance. It supports higher current and provides anti-reverse plug, making it more user-friendly.
It comes with two 450mAh 1S 30C batteries included in the package.
It is equipped with high-speed 19500kv motors paired with quiet 2-blade propellers. Combined with its lightweight frame, the drone achieves a high thrust-to-weight ratio even with a 1s 4.35V high-voltage lithium battery.
As a result, the Meteor75 offers a smooth and agile flight performance, resembling a small buzzing bee. In manual mode, with enough practice, you can also perform simple freestyle, adding an extra layer of excitement to the flying experience. Whoop Quadcopter Weight
Through actual measurements, the weight of the whole Whoop Drone, excluding the battery, is only 25.2g, which is less than half the weight of an egg. Including the 450mAh battery, the total weight reaches 37g, making it easy to fit in the palm of your hand.
